Oooohhhh, I am so jealous! I'm never seen snow like that before in person! We're considering taking a vacation to Chicago in the next few years and I was telling my dh that I definitely want to go when it snows!

I know it may be a pain at times for you guys, but enjoy it. Y'all are blessed to be able to experience it. :o)

If you want to come when we have snow, it is best to aim for late January or February. We usually do not get mush measurable snow here till after Christmas in most years . A White Christmas is not a guarantee, however when we get the snow we get absolute bitter cold temps with it. We can and have had wind chills of -40 degrees with the snowy season, which is so cold that exposed flesh freezes and it does lung damage. However, we kind of take it in stride, and when we stop having to shovel it or drive in it, we really enjoy the way it looks when it first falls !
